The state of Minnesota is offering a collection of freebies for the first 100,000 people who get their COVID-19 vaccination over the next month.
(FOX 9) - Gov. Tim Walz announced 9 incentives for people who get vaccinated as Minnesota pushes to reach the 70% threshold for vaccinations of people 16 and older.
The first 100,000 Minnesotans to receive their first COVID-19 vaccine dose by June 30 can choose from one of these nine options:
Great Lakes Aquarium Pass
Eligible for one entrance to the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth. Valid until July 1, 2023. The Minnesota Department of Health will provide recipients’ contact information to the Aquarium which will mail tickets to Minnesotans who select this option.

A new incentive program in Minnesota will offer 100,000 new COVID-19 vaccine recipients free fishing licenses, or tickets to summer destinations such as Valleyfair or the Minnesota State Fair.
Gov. Tim Walz and state health officials hope the modest incentives will be enough to boost COVID-19 vaccinations in Minnesota, and nudge people who had been hesitant in the past to get their shots.
While Minnesota is among the nation s leaders in its rate of fully vaccinated state residents, the weekly number of first doses administered has fallen from 368,294 in the week beginning April 11 to 234,837 in the week beginning May 16.

Thursday, Gov. Tim Walz announced an incentive campaign to encourage Minnesotans to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in the next month.
The campaign was announced to help Minnesota to reach the milestone of at least 70% of residents age 16 and older being vaccinated by July 1.
Walz s office said the first 100,000 Minnesotans who get their first shot between May 27 and June 30 can choose a reward of their preference from a list of options, including:
